Sis Nicole, I enjoyed the play immensely. Angela was very convincing in her performance, but Linda and Grady brought something as well. They were hilarious!! The entire cast were superb in their acting ability. You did it again–outdid yourself. I don’t know if there is such a thing as better in this case. May the Lord keep using you with your gift to bring the different messages to us.

I didn’t know what to expect from this play. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed myself. The Drama Team has taught me so much more than just forgiveness and that there is so much more to the play than just putting on a play. My hat goes off to everyone in the front and behind the scenes. Great Job Nicole and staff!

  5. mamasitame Says:

I had seen this play at least 5 times in rehearsals but each performance this weekend still left me laughing at times, crying with a knot in my throat at times and enjoying it the entire time. You all did a great job and I’m so proud of you all. Can’t wait until the next play.

Having lived in the East for years and seeing numerous Broadway and Off Broadway shows I must say that you are right there among the best of them Nikki . . . .

This play takes you on an emotional roller coaster. The actors are believable and were of Broadway calibur.

I am so very proud of what God has “birthed” in you!! Please remember to save me a front row “center-section A ” seat when you hit NYC Broadway.

The Lord is a great God, He always know who to bless. Ms. Nicole Newman Colter. God has use you to help me, that play was given to help in todays problems I’m facing in my life. I could relate to many parts in the scenes, as the play went on.
Opening night show was great and the second show was even greater. They showed professionalism, grace, unity.
Everyone bow for you have done a good job. however I would love to get a dvd: Another Cinderella story, love forgiveness, dealing with the lost of a love one, this play covered many subjects that we face everyday. I’ve been to many plays east coast, overseas and west. Nikki you are indeed up there with the best.
    Thanks Nikki for loving us.

  12. Althea Says:

My favorite character was Grady and his wife. I don’t even know what her name was because she kept saying “Grady” so often. I love laughing and I love this play. Also, it was a great opportunity for me to invite my co-workers. They too shared that they love the play. Thank you for all the hard work and we look forward to the next play.

  13. Aaron Says:

The play was actually a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It was hilarious and had an interesting plot. Well directed and also acted. Congratulations on your positive outcome of the play good luck to future projects.

  14. Maggie Tate Says:

Sis. Nicole! All my guests and I truly enjoyed the production! All the players were excellent and I was greatly touched by the story of redeeming love and forgiveness! I couldn’t stop the tears, knowing that forgiveness is the epitomy of our existence! Thank you for using your God-given talents to bless us, and please be encouraged to continue using your gifts to bless God’s people; and to plant a desire in the hearts of those who need salvation to come to God! Love you always!

  16. Sofia Says:

I was absolutely moved by the play, It was refreshing to see the amount of talent that is just hidding in our own backyard. My co-worker and I attended the play together and we both had tears running down our cheeks at the end. I would love to see this play make it to other venues so that others can appreciate the great talent and team work. Keep up the great work. I can’t wait to see the next production as well.

  17. Velma Says:

All other plays have been great, but ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY, was exceptional. All of the cast was excellent. I do believe that this play was the best so far! God is doing a work through Nichole and each person selected for their individual parts. I can hardly wait for the DVD and the next play, Can it top this one? Keep on growing in the Grace of God. There is a need for this work.

  18. phyllis Says:

    I really enjoy the play..everyone did a excellent job..keep writing good plays….Nicole

  19. Iris Says:

    AWESOME! MAGNIFICENT! FUNNY! MOVING! INSPIRATIONAL!

    Nicole,

You and the Drama Team were absolutely wonderful. This was not an amateur production. There was something for everyone to relate to and the message of hope and forgiveness came through loud and clear. I came to both performances and was moved to tears.

My guests were amazed at the production. They too left in tears. One of their daughters recently lost her father and is having a difficult time dealing with his death. He was shot and killed by someone he knew. Angela really ministered to her (especially the part where she picked herself up and begin to worship God).

My other guest’s daughter is nine years old. Her mother said she had so many questions. It did not appear that she was absorbing so much but she was. She wanted to come back Sunday.

I thank God for the gift and ministry he has given you. Sometimes it is easier to get the message across when it is presented in this format.

May God continue to bless you and your team. I look forward to more productions. Love and prayers,

  20. stephanie Reed Says:

That was really good it made me wont to be in the next one keep up the good work…

  21. Edquione Says:

Thank you for “Another Cinderella Story”! The well written, inspirational and thought provoking drama was a great family experience! Raw emotion, energy, along with great comedic relief, coupled with the absolutely lovable Mr. Palmer (David Scott) and incredibly unforgettable, Jon Jon (David Scott Jr.)
(both compassionate and strong), was all amazing! Your time and commitment towards the continued growth and development of your congregation is evident. I’ll look forward to the sequel and seeing Angela on the big screen!!!

  22. Jessica Gilkey Says:

The play was excellent. I really enjoyed all the characters – Grady and his wife were hilarious. I laughed and wanted to cry. Great Job TGB Drama Ministry. Nicole keep them coming!

  23. Maciel Ramirez Says:

I was fascinated by the strength each of the performers reflected in their characters. I cried, I mourned, I laughed with all of them, as did my 5 year old daughter. The play spoke to me to take reflection in my own life-daily-and continually ask God to soften my heart. More importantly the play encourages the audience to break generational cycles for the sake of our young children. It was a privilege to experience Another Cinderella Story.

  24. Lee Greene Says:

First and foremost thank you for the opportunity to see such a wonderful play. I’m sorry we couldn’t use all the tickets…Memorial Day and plans and all…

Everyone did such a wonderful job. The men were more reserved then the women…the women sure strutted their stuff!
It was such a blessing to watch. I laughed and got teary-eyed…Great acting and production. Congrats and thanks for all your hard work.

  25. Dorothea Terry Says:

Sis. Nicole…Awesome production. I would have to say of all the plays this might be my favorite. It was very thought provoking and meaningful. As I observed the audience through my own tears I could see many women especially in tears that had been touched by the message of forgiveness. I believe many lives we impacted and will never be they same. Thank you for writing such a wonderfully anointed play and casting it so perfectly.

  26. Kimberly Evans-Harris Says:

I truly enjoyed the play. You have a gift from God. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more.

  27. Chantal Taylor Says:

The message of this play is powerful and the cast were like any other actors you pay to see in theater. I think you should share this message worldwide. I can see Ms. Newman Coulter plays becoming as popular as Tyler Perry because she her style of writing is different and she not trying to bite off anyone. She’s going to blow up. Please do this play again. I bought a ticket from a co-worker and wasn’t expecting this kind of play. I’m telling you, this was the kind of production that should be in theaters. I just wish it was here longer because I would invite my family and friends. When the dvd comes out, I want mine autographed. Be blessed drama ministry.

  28. Devin Says:

I agree this writer is going places. I laughed and got teary eyed, my girlfriend was crying because her stepmother acts like the lady in the play. At the end, I looked at her and told her to forgive. People know you guys. I overheard 2 guys at the bank talking about the play, I told them I saw it to. Yea, do it again, it was great.

  29. Gina Says:

The play was definetly a Tyler Perry or David Talbet status. I was all into the storyline. I just wish we got to see more of what happened with Anglea and Mario. Do they have a big wedding? Any kids? Do you all have a newsletter I can sign up for?

  30. Gina Says:

One more thing, I love that this play was written by a girl!!!!!!!!

  31. Megan Fox Says:

Thanks so much for inviting us. The play was moving, evoking tears as well as a wonderful message. The makeup, and props were impressive. The acting was terrific and we, as well as the rest of the audience, were truly touched. In addition to all of that it was a nice escape from the daily routine of work, kids, etc. Thanks for thinking of us.

  32. felica dulaney Says:

Sis Nicole, I just want to thank you for letting my son Anthony ( Grady ) to be involved in the play. It really helped him out a lot. And it also made a big change into his life. I would watch him work on his lines when he was at home. He put all he had into being Grady.
I am so proud of him. As a child he was born premature by 5 months. I was four months pregenat when I had him. And I remeber the doctors telling me not to get my hope up, because he wasn’t going to live. I never gave hope up. He was in the hospital for three months. And when I brought him home, he was no different than any other child that was born normal. He is my mircle child. And I never gave up any hope on him.
I alway have encouged all my children to be and do the best that they could be. And to always keep God in there lives.
So thanks to all of you for onpening your arms to Anthony and I. We don’t have no family here in Az. But we have found one, and thet is you guys. You opened your arms to us and we really appericate very much.
And my the next play i will try out.
i really enjoyed it so much. And his grandmother enjoyed it just as much as I did. She didn’t cry but I did. It really touched me.

  33. felica dulaney Says:

And I forgot to say, Mr. Jackson was hilarious. Enjoyed it very much.
And I know that the next one will be just as good as this one was. And I do plan to try out.

  34. Linda Fitzgerald Says:

HEARTWARMING! A beautifully written and produced story of life’s unexpected turns and the power of forgiveness. Drama, suspense, laughter, tears, hope and a strong message. “Another Cinderella Story” has it all. Impressive character development and acting. It is hard to believe this was an amateur production with many first time actors. Angela, you were SUPBERB!! You deffidently had my heart in your hands. Thank you Nancy for inviting me. It was a wonderful experience.

  35. Tiffani Says:

WOW that play was awesom!!! I enjoyed thy whole thing… I got so much from it It had true meaning and a powerful lesson. I would love to be apart of the drama ministry it is truely beautiful to see people have so much fun and at the same time get a point across…

  36. Danita Says:

I definitely enjoyed “Another Cinderella Story”. Everyone did a wonderful job on their performances. I laughed and I almost cried (and I’m not a movie crier), this play was definitely more emotional than the others. God is truly blessing the drama ministry and he is taking it to another level. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of it, Nicole.

  37. Danita Says:

    Nicole,
I’m glad that you discovered your gift of writing and are using it for God’s glory. You did an awesome job writing the script. He is using you to take the drama ministry to where he wants it to be. You are very talented and I’m happy that I have been able to work with you. I love you and God bless you!

    Danita

  38. Laire Harris Says:

Yes Nicole. You are highly favored, blessed, beautiful and gifted. I love working with you. You have been humble, obedient, and striving only for the best! You’ve been very inspirational to me and I’m sure to the rest of the cast. Speaking of the cast, they are a joy to work with. We had love, peace and most of all unification. Everyone did an outstanding job!! Nicole- I know that God will have you grow more in your ministry. I enjoyed seeing the growth in this play. And there are a lot of comments for this play. I know the next plays you do; the audience will be much larger than before. That means more people to minister and bless at that time. God is doing a great work in you. There was laughter, sadness, anger, happiness, and excitement; all the emotions that we go through in our lives. It was truly touching. How I view this entire play is that through it all, I know that God can make anyone’s situation into “Another Cinderella Story”. Can’t wait to see more!!! Love you Nicole!!!

  39. Melvin and Kathryn Says:

    TGB’s Got Talent!

We really enjoyed the play, the acting and the set. Everyone seemed to really get into their parts and did a superb job. I, too am looking forward to the DVD and the opportunity of sharing it with family and friends. Just this week, I could see a person at work that was having problems letting go and forgiving. She was actually making herself sick dwelling on things.

Keep up the good work, Sis. Nicole and the TGB Drama Ministry!

  40. Fran Says:

I am praying that God openings doors for this ministry. This play needs to be seen by the world. God is creating a purposeful work and it shall come to pass. Keep up the sincerity of Gods work through theater. God needs this story of love and forgiveness told over and over again. Brace yourselves, God will do a quick work.

    Sister Rhonda

  43. Sis Adrienne Harper Says:

What an awesome gift you have. The play was better than some of Tyler Perrys’ productions. It really blessed me in that I could relate to some of the characters and the things they went through in life. I needed tissues or should I say many tissues to wipe my tears for the emotions felt. Sis. Terry and I are the teary dearies and your play had us both crying as usual. Excellent job should be on TV, at the conventions, the counsel, or BET for new and talented producers. Continue to write anointed plays and go with your vision “BECAUSE YOU CAN” !

  44. Sister Rhonda Hollis Says:

    Sister Rhonda

  45. Barbara Meeks Says:

I am grateful to have been blessed to witness such excellent talent in ministry. I enjoyed the appropriateness for every age group in the audience. The cast was able to deliver a message of hope, perserverance and deliverance without the use of vulgarity, profanity and nudity. It had a good meter of humor with enough balance of seriousness so as not to loose the message. I aquired an appreciation for the director, all the crew, cast, stage hands etc. and the energy that goes into a production. I had no idea of the work/sacrifices involved. My continued support and prayers for the Drama Team and our Directress Supreme- Sis. Nicole. Looking forword to the next production! At the-Herberger? Dodge? Celebrity? or The Nicole Newman-Colter Theater. Awesome job. Thanks for allowing God to speak to us through you.

Awesome job to the cast. You all seemed born and bread for this ministry.

  55. Cynthia Adams Says:

Thank you so much for inviting our women to the play.  I ended up in the hospital that next (kidney stone) week but even a week later they were still talking about it.  Keep us posted on any other events they truly loved it!

  56. I just wanted to thank you all for using these impowering plays to promote the idea of many women out there who live in fear or lies and because of angels that are out there playing their role, the story is being told. God bless you for taking the time to expose an eye opening experience that can motivate anyone to believe in themselves and realize that god is always there for those who seek.
